Definition of healthy relationships: what they mean and what characteristics they have.
The role of parents and children in a relationship and the importance of mutual communication, empathy and trust.
Techniques of active listening and open communication.
How to express your needs and feelings without causing misunderstandings or conflicts.
Handling difficult conversations in the family.
How to properly experience emotions within the family and how to cope with the emotions of others.
Discussion on how family relationships affect our self-esteem and overall psychological well-being.
Short video clips illustrating different types of family interactions (e.g. supportive, conflictual, unhealthy).
Analysis of these situations and discussion of potential alternatives and strategies for improvement.
Mechanisms of how conflicts arise and how to work with them effectively.
Tactics for de-escalating disputes and building harmony in the family.
Interactive exercises to help participants apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
A chance to share personal experiences and learn from the stories of others.
How to continue improving family relationships even after the course ends.
Recommended reading, resources and possible further courses or seminars.
