PhDr. Petra Menclová, Ph.D. is an experienced clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive diagnostics and psychotherapy. She graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague, where she also passed the state rigorous examination (PhDr.) in the field of clinical psychology. She expanded her professional education with a postgraduate doctoral study (Ph.D.) at the 1st Faculty of Medicine in Prague, focusing on medical psychology and psychopathology. As a certified clinical psychologist with comprehensive training in psychotherapy (Rogerian training), she holds a second postgraduate certification. She gained her professional experience as a chief clinical psychologist and supervisor of specialised training at the Kosmonosy Psychiatric Hospital, as well as during internships in renowned institutions such as the General University Hospital in Prague, Thomayer Hospital, RIAPS Prague, the Meridian Clinic, and the Health and Care Clinic. As a professional guarantor and supervisor for clinical psychology, she focuses on multidisciplinary connections in therapy, including psychosomatic illnesses, psychology in sexology, and psychological aspects of neurological diseases.
